Metaphysical Jewelry

Feng Shui is an ancient science and is based on the principles of yin and yang as well as the Five Element Theory. The Five Element Theory says that all of the energy (qi) the Earth releases from the ground can be mapped and controlled with the Five Elements. These Elements are Fire, Earth, Metal, Water, and Wood. These Elements are alive, which is why they work when applying them to remedy a problem area in a building, but we don’t necessarily see them as living things except for the Wood, which is actually Live Plants. Remember all of the language used to describe feng shui concepts has been translated from the original Mandarin Chinese so if you think about terms like Flying Star Feng Shui in a scientific way it becomes apparent that we are talking about the movement of something very heavy (qi or energy/heavy life) along with Wind (feng) and Water (shui).  The Wind is created by plants so Wind actually refers to Wood. All of this to say that carrying living things around with you in the form of jewelry can help alleviate a whole host of things. Wearing natural elements on your body can alter how you perceive the world and help all of us become more aware of our surroundings and the life that we are a part of.  Keeping a metaphysical piece of jewelry in your aura or etheric field can have any number of effects. I’ve chosen the types of Rocks and Metals that I think are most useful in our modern times and made them into wearables. This month the rock I’ve chosen to highlight is Howlite. It is a beautiful white to cream color and is very easy to wear. It is mild and friendly. Howlite is good for

~Calming

~Releasing Emotional Pain

~Insomnia

~Healing

~Creativity

~Enhancing Awareness

Also this month marks the half-way point of our solar year so all feng shui consultations are 1/2 off! I look forward to working with you.
